International Chess Challenge Accepted.

C. T. Rice '01, president of the Harvard Chess Club, has been notified by Mr. E. W. Libaire, honorary manager of the chess clubs of Harvard, Yale, Columbia and Princeton, that Cambridge and Oxford have accepted the American challenge for an international chess match to be played by cable. In accepting the challenge the English colleges suggest as dates April 19 and 20, which will undoubtedly be accepted by the American colleges.
