Doctor of Laws -- Le Baron Russell Briggs '75, Dean of Harvard College; Benjamin Ide Wheeler, President of the University of California; Marcus Perrin Knowlton, Justice of the Supreme Court of Massachusetts; William Henry Welch Professor of Pathology in Johns Hopkins University; Sir Julian Pauncefote, English Ambassador to the United States.
