At the election of Overseers on Commencement Day the following four graduates were elected for the full term of six years. Samuel Hill '79 of Minneapolis, Hon. G. F. Hoar '46 of Worcester, W. Lawrence '71 of Cambridge and E. W. Hooper '59 of Boston, For the fifth vacancy, A. Lincoln '63 and C. H. Russell '72 were tied. The question of the tie will come before the Overseers at their next meeting for decision.
