Mr. Randolph C. Surbridge '89 L. S. '92 has agreed to furnish the money with which to buy medals for the University debaters and cups for the winning class teams, and will present the cups at the interclass debate on Friday night. Mr. Surbridge has also agreed to establish a permanent fund with which to buy cups for class teams in the future. The cups will be called the Surbridge Cups, in honor of the donor. Mr. Surbridge took an active part in debating while in College and was a member of the team which represented Harvard in the first Harvard-Yale debate, January 14, 1892.
