The eclipse of the sun this morning will be partial over Cambridge shortly after nine o'clock. The path of total eclipse, which is but fifty-four miles in width, extends from Mexico across the United States to Norfolk, Va., and ends at Thebes, Egypt. The shadow will begin over Mexico soon after eight o'clock, and traveling at an average rate of twenty-seven hundred miles an hour will reach Egypt about half-past eleven.
