Second Nine Won.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Second nine easily defeated the All-Leiter cup team on Soldiers Field yesterday afternoon by a score of 17 to 2. The Second nine had the game well in hand from the start, and in the last innings made runs at will. The Second nine played a steady and at times a brilliant game in the field, while the Leiter cup men had practically no team work and made many bad errors. Coburn pitched in unusually good form, using great speed. SECOND NINE   a.b.  r.  b.h.  p.o.  a.  e.
