Freshman Rowing

The candidates for the Freshman crew began work in the Gymnasium yesterday afternoon. They were put on the rowing machines and were given bending exercise without the oars and with strapped slides. A short run on the board track finished the work.

The following men were appointed as coaches for the various squads:3.30 squad-N. W. Tilton '00, J. Lawrence '01, and G. bancroft '02; 4.00 squad--C. H. Harding '00, D. Evans'01 and H. C. Hawkins '01; 4.30 squad-G. N. Sheafe 2L., C. B. Wood 2L. and F. O. Byrd '00; 5.00 squad-H. Bancroft 2L., N. Biddle '00 and W. Shuebruck '02.
