Second Nine Defeated by Groton.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Second nine was defeated by Groton by the score of 11 to 10. Both teams hit the ball hard, but the fielding on both side was very ragged. Harvard had the game well in hand at the end of the ninth inning when on three wild throws to first base and a combination of errors Groton scored four runs and won the game. Dudley pitched a good game, but received little support. Christenson led the team at the bat with three hits. Innings,  1  2  3  4  5  6  7  8  9  runs.  b.h.  e.
