In the semi-finals of the Leiter Cup series, yesterday, the Barristers defeated the Boiler Makers 27 to 10. The Barristers played a strong batting game, and in the last few innings showed a great improvement in fielding. They took the lead in the first inning, and by hard, steady batting made the game rather one sided.

The final game of the series between the Barristers and Dew Drops has been postponed until next Wednesday at 4 o'clock.

The All-Leiter cup team practiced for the first time on Soldiers Field yesterday afternoon. After some preliminary fielding under the direction of Captain Reid and E. T. Putnam '01, a practice game of four innings was played with the Second Nine, which the Second won by a score of 3 to 1. The scoring on both sides was due to wild throws to first base. The batting order of the all-Leiter Cup team was: Smith, 3b; Hill, s.s.; Nye, Foster, Threefoot, 1b; Putnam, c.; Webb, l.f.; Winsor, p.; Leonard, 2b.; Chase, Canterbury, r.f.; Chase, Canterbury, r.f.; Forsman, c.f.
