Work on the repairs to the Rotch Building to fit it up for a mining laboratory has progressed very satisfactorily. On the floor of the old baseball cage concrete bases have been put in position for the stamp mill and Huntington mill. Another room of the same area as the old cage will be built on the east end of the building and fitted up with assay furnaces and other mining apparatus. All repairs on the building will be completed by October 1.
