At a meeting of the Harvard Club of St. Louis last autumn the question of founding a new university scholarship was discussed and a committee consisting of Professor Marshall S. Snow '65 of Washington University, President E. H. Sears '74 of Mary Institute, and George B. Leighton '88, was appointed by the president of the club, Dr. John Green '55, to consult the other St. Louis graduates about the matter. As a result, at the annual dinner of the club held recently, the committee was able to announce that it has been decided to found a scholarship of $300 annually for graduates of Missouri colleges or universities taking a post graduate course at Harvard. The scholarship becomes available next year.
