The cricket team plays its first game of the season this afternoon at Lowell, with the Lowell Cricket Club.
The team this year gives every promise of being a strong one. All of last year's bowlers have returned and if J. A. Lester 3G. plays the team will be fully as strong as the one of last year.
In the practice yesterday two hours were spent in bowling and batting, and a little light work was done in fielding. The men have shown steady improvement from the first, and yesterday's practice was encouraging.
The following men will make up the team: A. Drinkwater '00, J. H. Fairweather 2L., M. MacNeill 1G., H. H. Lowry '00, O. Paul 1B., V. C. Mather '03, W. N. Taylor '03, G. H. Wilder '00, R. C. Brown 1G., C. H. Bradley 2M., E. J. Samson '01.
