There was no regular practice for the cricket team during the vacation, but six or eight men stayed over and practiced when the weather permitted. Yesterday afternoon regular work began again and about sixteen men were out. As there are no cricket grounds available the team can have no practice games, but the crease on Holmes Field allows bowling and batting and some fielding practice.
Besides the games already announced the team will play the Lowell Cricket Club at Lowell on Saturday afternoon.
