Cricket practice is still being held in the Cage, though it is hoped that the ground will be in fit condition by the end of the week for out-door work. During the long period of indoor batting and bowling, the squad has been reduced to seventeen men. No second team will be formed, owing to the fact that there will be no second crease available. It is hardly possible now to judge accurately of the men's abilities, with a view to picking a team, as there has been no fielding practice as yet. The men retained are: G. H. Wilder '00, G. H. Bradley 2M., R. C. Brown 1G., J. H. Fair-weather 2L., J. T. Murray 1G., J. A. Lester 3G., H. H. Lowry '00, H. G. Gray 3L., O. Paul 1B., T. Stokes '03, F. Fisher '03, E. J. Samson '01, W. N. Taylor '03, V. C. Mather '03, M. MacNeil '03, E. B. Hilliard '00, R. Flint '01, C. Read '03.
