Elevated Line to Cambridge.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Boston Elevated Railroad Company has definitely decided to begin work on the Cambridge section of its elevated line in the spring of 1901. The route, though not fully determined, will probably be as follows: From the new subway out by Cambridge St., across the West Boston Bridge, along Main St., through private property to Green St., which runs parallel to Massachusetts Ave., and then to Brattle square by way of Mount Auburn St. According to present plans there will only be two stations in Cambridge and in this case the running time between Brattle Square and Scollay Square will not exceed ten minutes.
