At the regular meeting of the Freshman Debating Club last night the question was won by the affirmative, supported by C. R. Loring, F. C. Keffer, and E. L. Lane.

For the next debate, on January 22, the question is, "Resolved, That England, Germany, France, and Russia be not allowed to take steps towards the dismemberment of China." Affirmative--M. F. Graupner, D. P. Shea, J. P. Veazy.--Negative--W. M. Rockwell, C. W. Gilkey, C. C. Sheffey.

The subject for the first debate of the second half-year, on February 12, is "Resolved, That it is not in the interest of Harvard University to allow Radcliffe students to participate in University recitations." Affirmative -- W. H. Hubbard, W. V. McDonald, C. Brewer. Negative--J. E. Tomlinson, C. A. Zanetti, H. U. Gade.
