The whole University baseball squad began work in the cage yesterday afternoon, under the coaching of B. H. Hayes '98 and E. M. Lewis. The men were given practice in fielding, throwing and running between bases. The battery candidates had their regular practice earlier in the afternoon before the fielders were called out.
