Freshman-Exeter Debate Tonight

The Freshman debating team will debate with Phi lips-Exeter this evening at Exeter on the same question as that of the Harvard-Yale debate: "Resolved, That the permanent retention of the Phillipine Islands by the United States is desirable." The Freshman team, composed of G. P. Adams, A. A. Ballantine and J. W. Scott, will support the negative side of the question. J. Daniels is alternate. The Exeter team is made up as follows: J. F. Dore, G. A. King, C. S. Norton and S. L. Wellhouse, alternate.

The debate will take place in the Academy Chapel at 8 o'clock. The train for Exeter will leave the North Union station at 4.15 o'clock. It is hoped that all Freshmen who can will go up to Exeter for the debate.
