Hon. Oscar S. Straus, United States Minister to Turkey, will deliver a lecture tonight at 8 o'clock, in Sanders Theatre, on the subject, "The United States Doctrine of Citizenship and Expatriation."

Mr. Straus, a native of Bavaria, is a graduate of Columbia College and Law School. In 1887 he was appointed Minister to Turkey by President Cleveland. He is a close student of American history and has been connected with various movements for reform in politics. He is the author of "The origin of the Republican form of government in the United States," "A Life of Roger Williams," and "The Reform of the Diplomatic Service."
