The twentieth annual meeting of the members of the Co-operative Society was held yesterday afternoon. The principal business consisted of a revision of the constitution, the election of officers, and a consideration of the annual report of the society's financial condition. No radical changes were made in the constitution, as the object desired was merely its adaptation to the Society's enlarged needs.
In the election of officers, Assistant Professor L. J. Johnson and W. E. Weaver 3L. were re-elected president and secretary respectively. Other directors were elected as follows: From the Faculty--Professor F. W. Taussig; Graduate School--C. H. Ayres 3G.; Law School--J. B. Hayward; Medical School--Professor F. B. Mallory; University-at-large--H. R. Meyer, instructor; 1901--J. R. Locke; 1902--B. Wendell Jr.; 1903--F. R. Dickinson.
The first statement below is an account of the business of the Co-operative Society for the fiscal year July 1, 1899 to June 30, 1900. The receipts are detailed for the eight departments. From the total business this fall should he deducted about $5,000 of Cuban business, leaving a gain of $15,000 for the business this fall.
