President Eliot will leave for Europe for his vacation on Friday. He will be absent probably until April. Dr. Henry Pickering Walcott '58 of the Corporation will take President Eliot's place during his absence. Dr. Walcott is chairman of the State Board of Health, Fellow of the American Academy and a member of the Massachusetts Historical Society. He received the degree of M, D. from Bowdoin in 1861.
