Secret practice began yesterday at Yale.

The Glee Club will give a concert at the Prospect Union on Wednesday evening, Nov. 21.

The Botanic Garden has just bought a collection of about twenty cacti from the Hiller estate at Wilmington, Massachusetts.

The membership of the Whist Club is now twenty-five, a considerable increase over last year. The club meets every Friday evening. Of last year's whish team six men have returned.

The Observatory is making extensive preparations for observing the meteoric shower which is expected on Nov. 14, 15, and 16. In spite of the failure in preceding years a fine display is hoped for,
