The second trial of candidates for the Pierian Sodality took place in Holden Chapel last night. The following men have been retained for further trial: Violin-H. C. Porter 1G., W. Goldthwaite '02, R. Hauffman '02, A. D. Ronimus '03, A. C. Boylston '03, W. H. Thompson '03, H. C. Morris '03, E. C. Stone '04, J. W. J. Marion '04, M. A. Edwards '04. 'Cello-P. H. Kelsey '02, E. P. Cole '04. Viola-G. R. Ford '02, Clarinet-C. E. Lakeman '04. Frenchhorn-P. A. McIntyre '01. Drum-F. S. Shepard '03, C. L. Ellison '01 has been appointed accompanist. Any men wishing to try for the Pierian who have been unable to come to the trials, should see the coach, Mr. Claude Fisher, in Holden Chapel at 6.45 Monday evening.
