The Harvard Christian Association has secured quarters for a juvenile reading room in East Cambridge and is now furnishing the rooms and establishing a library. Since there is no social room for children at present in that district the rooms will be fitted up with periodicals and books for children from seven to fourteen years of age. Some fifty standard juvenile books are being purchased to form a nucleus. In order that these rooms may become an attractive spot in a decidedly desolate district, it is hoped that Harvard men will help to keep the library growing by contributing more volumes. Books for the library will be received by E. C. Hern, 4 Thayer Hall, and subscriptions may be sent to F. A. Cope, Little's Block 14.
