About sixty candidates for the track team began training on Soldiers Field yesterday. Many more are expected to join the squad today or tomorrow. The work yesterday was light, the distance men running three laps and the candidates for the sprints, one. The work will be gradually increased so as to put the men into good condition for the fall track games to be held in the last week in October.
