A Tie.

The Freshman-St. Marks football game at Southboro yesterday afternoon resulted in a tie, neither side scoring. Although inferior in weight, the St. Marks line easily outplayed their opponents. The Freshmen lacked team work and were slow in starting. This was particularly noticeable on end plays when the Freshmen backs were held for big losses. Hutchinson's punting and the defensive work of Dodge and Burgess were the creditable features of the game.

The line-up was as follows: Freshmen.  St. Marks. Burgess, r.e.  l.e., L. Willard. Jones, Meier, r.t.  l.t., Sard. Rainsford, Robinson, r.g.  l.g., Dodge. Blaikie, c.  c., Brooks. Coburn, l.g.  r.g., White. Dodge, Mackay, l.t.  r.t., Fletcher. Hutchinson, Harrison, l.e.  r.e., Spaulding. Thayer, Marshall, q.b.  q.b., Miles. Lindsay, Blagden, r.h.b.  l.h.b., Hinkle. Pruyn, Parker, l.h.b.  r.h.b., Hinkle, J. Willard. Phillips, f.b.  f.b., Bunting.
