The Harvard team defeated Wollaston yesterday afternoon by a score of 16 to 2 in a Scotch foursome match, five pairs on a side. H. Lindsley '02 made a new record for the Wollaston course, going out in 40 and coming in 39. The separate foursome scores follow:
H. Lindsley '02 and J. M. Richards '04 defeated Smith and Atherton, 1 up; H. B. Hollins, Jr., '04 and G. G. Winston '04 defeated Corey and Freeman, 8 up; Porter and Tilton defeated A. M. Brown '03 and U. A. Murdock '03, 2 up; G. M. Wheelock '01 and W. W. Hoffman '02 defeated Price and Mulliken, 8 up; W. B. Wood '02 and H. Davenport '04 defeated Clark and Pope, 1 up.
