The Committee on the Reception of Students announces the following course of lectures to be given on successive Thursday evenings in the Lecture Room of the Fogg Museum, at 8 p. m. These lectures are open to members of the University only:

Oct. 18.--The Environment of Harvard University. (Illustrated.) Professor Shaler.

Oct. 25.--The Charles River. (Illustrated.) Mr. J. G. Thorp.

Nov. 1.--Architecture in and about Boston. (Illustrated.) Professor H. L. Warren.

Nov. 8.--The Boston Museum of Fine Arts. Mr. E. Robinson.
