Yesterday the number of graded crews on the river was increased to three at the Newell and to four at the Weld, and there were four Freshman eights out at each house. A rule has just been adopted at the Weld to systematize the work of the professional coach, according to which the Freshmen and the graded crews are instructed by Donovan on alternate days.
