The Skating Rink

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The skating rink for the students on Soldiers Field was not in condition during the recess owing to a defect in the water meter. It has also been found that at high tide in the Charles River, water backs up under the ice and melts and cracks it. If this continues the rink will be moved to another part of the field. As the meter has been repaired, the rink is now in condition for use, and it will be kept clear of snow and flooded when necessary. Students can join the Ice Hockey Club and use the rink by paying a fee of one dollar, thus securing a badge, at Leavitt & Peirce's, Amee's, and the CRIMSON office.
