Over sixty men are enrolled this year in the four courses in Bible study which are being given by the Y. M. C. A., in comparison with fourteen men last year distributed among three courses. These four courses are of a progressive nature and are aimed to correspond with the different College classes. Following out of this plan is, however, optional.

The first course, called "Studies in the Life of Christ," is under the leadership of Dr. A. C. Garrett, and meets every Thursday evening at 7; the second is, "Studies in the Acts and the Epistles," led by W. M. Crane '02, meeting Thursday evenings at 6.45; the third is, "Studies in Old Testament Characters," conducted on Monday evenings at 7 by G. L. Paine '96, Senior in the Episcopal Theological School; the fourth course is, "The Gospel of St. John," led by G. S. Budd 1G., on Sundays at 12.

These classes are not organized for historical or literary purposes, but are intended to supply a course in daily devotional study and to help men in their every day life.
