The negative won the Freshman debate on the question: "Resolved, That England, Germany, France and Russia be not allowed to take steps towards the dismemberment of China" W. M. Rockwell, C. W. Gilkey, and C. C. Scheffy spoke on the winning side. February 12 is the date of the next meeting, when officers for the second half-year will be elected.
