Although the team played a fast and consistent game during the first half, which resulted in its favor, the second half was marked by a decided slump and a corresponding rally on the part of Newtowne which finally resulted in a tie game. The line-up, which continued the same during the whole game, was as follows: A. M. Goodridge, goal; Russell, point; Hardy, coverpoint; Laverack, F. S. Goodridge, Hoxie, Beardsell, forwards.
