Harvard won the first game of hockey from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology yesterday afternoon on Soldiers Field by a score of 10 to 1. In each of the two twenty minute halves, Harvard made five goals, and the single goal by M. I. T. was made during the last minute of play. The make up of the University team was as follows: Goal, Russell, A. M. Goodridge; point, Vanderpool, Russell; cover-point, Hardy, Penhallow; forwards, Laverack, F. J. Goodridge, Rumsey, Beardsell.
The following is the revised schedule:
January 12. Dorchester at Soldiers Field.
January 13. Canadian Team at Soldiers Field.
January 15. Newtowne at Soldiers Field.
January 20. Brown at Providence.
January 27. Yale at Soldiers Field.
February 3. Brown at Soldiers Field.
February 7. M. I. T. at Soldiers Field.
A second game with Yale will be played in New York, but the date has not yet been settled.
