Whitman Mitchell Chandler '98, son of Mr. and Mrs. Horace P. Chandler, died Wednesday, aged twenty-three years, While at College Chandler was very prominent in athletics, playing on his Freshman nine, and on the University baseball team for three years. He was a member of the Institute of 1770, and of the Hasty Pudding Club. The funeral will be on Saturday, Sept. 30, at eleven o'clock, from his late residence, Forest Hills street, corner of Glen road, Jamaica Plain.
