At the election of Overseers held on Commencement Day, the following five Overseers were elected for a period of six years each: W. A. Bancroft '78, Overseer 1893-99, 603 votes; C. E. Norton '46, 529; William Everett '59, 416; S. M. Weld '69, Overseer 1888-98, nominated by certificate, 388; John Frisk '63, Overseer 1879-91, 481.
