It is estimated that about five hundred students are earning their way through the University, three hundred of whom are in the College.

The aggregate income of the twenty-two fellowships which are now provided for graduates, and of the two hundred and six scholarships for undergraduates, is $55,775.

The University of Pennsylvania and the University of Michigan will hold a debate at Philadelphia on March 9. The question will be "Resolved, That the formation of trusts should be opposed by legislation."
