To the Editor of the Crimson:

The Athletic Association of Harvard Graduates proposes to give a complimentary subscription dinner to the winning 'Varsity crew on November 17, the evening before the Harvard-Yale game. President Eliot, Gov. Wolcott, Gov. Roosevelt, Gen. Bancroft, Mayor Quincy, C. C. Beaman, and other prominent graduates will be asked to speak.

The committee having the arrangements in charge is desirous of giving the undergraduates an opportunity to attend. Unless, however, the number of undergraduates who wish to subscribe can be ascertained approximately in advance, it will be impossible to accommodate even a limited number.

The committee, therefore, has instructed me to ask the CRIMSON, if possible, to canvass the University for this purpose. Very truly yours,   FRED W. MOORE, Secretary.

Blue-books will be placed on the bulletin boards at Memorial and University Hall, at the CRIMSON office and at Leavitt's and Sanborn's this morning. It is necessary that men sign today or tomorrow if they wish to be included in the list. The dinner will probably be held at Music Hall, Boston. Price of tickets, $3 00.
