As a result of the matches played this fall, the following men have been selected to play on the Harvard golf team in the intercollegiate tournament to be held at Garden City, L. I., on October 24: G. G. Hubbard '00, D. P. Lockwood '03, C. T. Richardson '02, and G. C. Clark, Jr., '01. To fill the two remaining places on the team, the following candidates will play deciding matches today: J. G. Averell 1G., R. F. Tucker '01, C. R. Henderson, Jr., '03, H. L. Ewer '00, H. Lindsley '02, W. Wadsworth '02.

The Harvard team defeated the Oakley Country Club yesterday, at the links of the latter club, by a score of forty up. The matches resulted as follows; Harvard.  Oakley Country Club.
