INTERCLASS DEBATING.

Committee Formed to Supervise Class Clubs.--Class Championship Proposed.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

In order to make sure that the class debating organizations shall work in harmony with the general scheme of University debating, an interclass debating committee has been formed. It is composed of representatives of the various class clubs and one member of the University Debating Club. While the clubs will conduct their own individual matters, the committee will assume a general direction ever all of them. An attempt will be made to secure debates between the class clubs and organizations outside of College, to take place before Christmas. After Christmas the regular interclass series will occur. The Seniors will debate against the Juniors, and the Sophomores against the Freshmen, and then there will be a final debate between the winners for the class championship. The committee will secure a critic for each meeting of the clubs. The following men have been chosen by the clubs which they represent to serve on this committee. S. B. Rosenthal 2L., member from the University Debating Club and chairman; E. E. Sargeant '00; W. T. Foster '01, J. H. Fitzpatrick '02, C. H. Derby '03.
