In the finals of the Yale golf tournament played yesterday afternoon, T.M. Cheney defeated E. Byers one up, and thus secured the university championship. In the semi-finals played in the morning, Cheney defeated Captain Robertson, one up in nineteen holes, and Byers defeated C. Hitchcock, Jr., four up and three to play.
