HARVARD QUARTERS, NEW LONDON, June 8.- The Harvard crews reached New London at 1 o'clock when they were met at the station and taken at once to Red Top on the tug T. W. Wellington for luncheon. The 'Varsity crew and substitutes are now at Red Top and every one is much pleased with the quarters.
The Freshmen are all at Captain Moulthrop's where they lodge and have their training table, while Mr. Lehmann, Mr. Storrow and Dr. Coolidge live at the Kimball cottage about one quarter of a mile below Red Top on the river.
The 'Varsity went out at 5.30 this afternoon in rough water, but the rowing was very satisfactory. The Freshmen also went out later with Mr. Storrow.
