Harvard defeated the Holy Cross nine last Saturday on Soldiers Field by the score of 12 to 5. The game was characterized by the loose fielding of both teams and heavy batting on the part of Harvard. Lewis and Sears were again tried at first and left field respectively, and both showed up exceedingly well. Lewis played an errorless fielding game and made a home run. Sears caught an almost impossible ball and had three base hits to his credit.
