The following letter of sympathy has been sent to Mr. and Mrs. Durham by the committee appointed from 1900:

"Dear Mr. and Mrs. Durham:

"We, the Class of Nineteen Hundred of Harvard University, wish to express to you our earnst sympathy in the loss of your son, Charless Brackett Durham.

"His even temper, cheerful disposition, and high principles endeared him to all who knew him. Successful in whatever he undertook while at college, he was one from whom we all expected much, and whose loss we shall never cease to regret."
