Tests were made last Saturday of the acoustic qualities of Upper Mass., with a view to a better arrangement of seats.

The trouble over the amount received by Yale from the Manhattan A. C. for the Thanksgiving game has been settled. Each college is to receive $14,000.

The records in the high kick and rope-climbing were broken in the M. I. T. meeting on Saturday. The new record in the first event is 9 ft. 3 1-2 inches.

The subjects of Pres. Eliot's fifth lecture in the Lowell Institute course this evening are "The Development of Professional Education" and "Women's Colleges."

Mr. Arthur H. Wilde of the Graduate School is to leave the University at Christmas time to become an instructor in the Northwestern University at Evanston, Illinois.

From now to December 22 Dr. Herford conducts morning prayers for the last time before leaving for England. He especially hopes that all who would like to call on him will do so during the week.
