The annual Andover-Exeter game will be played this afternoon at Andover. The chances of winning are slightly in favor of Andover who has been playing steadier and more evenly than Exeter, and has been beaten only by Tufts, Harvard and Yale. The Exeter nine is, however, capable of playing remarkably good preparatory school baseball.
The batting orders of the teams will be:
Exeter-Lawton, l. f.; Little, 3b.; W. Barker, s. s.; Miller, c.; Weeks, 1b.; H. Barker, 2b.; Beach, c. f.; Guernsey, r. f.; Carter or Clay, p.
Andover-Quinby, r. f.; Jones, 3b.; Waddell, c.; Corse, r. f.; Stephenson, p.; Chapman, 1b.; Saunders, l. f.; Barnwell, c. f.; Matthews, s. s.
