A private performance of the one-act play "Die Schul Reiterin" was given by the Deutscher Verein last evening in the Newtowne Club House. The performance went off with a great deal of spirit and without any perceptible hitches. There was a tendency, however, to speak rapidly and to slur many of the words and phrases. H. B. Stanton 1900 and J. W. Frothingham '99 played their parts most intelligently and with least exaggeration.
