Harvard Students To Vote on Divestment From Israel in Inaugural HUA Election Survey
Yesterday there were some changes made in both the first and second 'Varsity eights. In the first boat Byrd was tried at two in place of Kernan, who rowed in place of L. Marvin '98 in the second boat, Marvin having stopped rowing for the present. Caspar Brown 1900 was put at 4 in the second boat, as Glidden, who has been rowing there, has also left the squad.
Mr. Lehmann took the two crews down the river as far as the Union Boat House, giving them occasional spurts. Both rowed steadily and with considerable snap, and will probably continue to row together from now on. The order of the two crews was as follows:
First Crew. Second Crew.
Higginson, stroke Dobyns.
Biddle, 7 Mr. Willis.
J. F. Perkins, 6 Kernan.
Heath, 5 Wadsworth.
J. H. Perkins, 4 Brown.
Lawrence 3 Harding.
Byrd, 2 Blake.
G. D. Marvin, bow, H. Adams.
R. B. Bedford 1900 and C. Brown 1900 were taken to the training table yesterday. The new launch which F. G. Thomson has presented to the crew has been shipped from Philadelphia and is now due in Cambridge.
