Weld Boat Club.

On Decoration Day the club house will be open only from 12 to 3 p. m.

The Weld Boat House at the foot of Boylston street will be opened Tuesday morning. Any member of the University may enjoy the privileges of the club from this date till the close of the rowing season next autumn by paying the fee of five dollars ($5) at Thurston's or to the secretary.

During the winter the house has been thoroughly cleaned, and the boats renovated; the hot water baths have been put in good order, and two of the three new boats will be ready for use.

The Governing Board have made two innovations this spring. First, the club is to have a shingle of appropriate design. Men who joined the club last fall as well as those who join this spring may obtain shingles by paying twenty-five cents at Thurston's, where they will be ready in a few days. Secondly, a new membership for the spring rowing season at a $3 fee (lockers $1 extra) has been created for seniors in all departments of the University. It is hoped that this last chance will be taken by seniors, especially those who have never been members of the club. Arrangements are being made to have a professional coach at the house during the months of April and May. Locker tickets may be obtained at Thurston's or of the secretary.
