Rabbi Zarchi Confronted Maria Ressa, Walked Off Stage Over Her Harvard Commencement Speech
The spring concert of the Pierian Sodality, given last night, in Sanders Theatre, was the most successful in the history of the society, thanks to the able coaching of Mr. C. M. Loeffler. The ensemble of the orchestra was remarkably good and the different parts well balanced. Six of the numbers were repeated and "El Capitan" and "Up the Street" were played as encores.
The best rendered piece was the "Intermezzo" to "Cavalleria Rusticana." The strings were especially good in this, and were played evenly and with great precision and unity.
One of the most interesting selections was the overture to "Spontania" by J. A. Loud '98. The work shows a great deal of originality and coherence.
